This year MaccPride 2026 is taking place on Saturday 4th July. 10:30 – 18:00pm, Market Place. Macclesfield. To ensure the safety of all participants, volunteers and attendees there will be a Road Closure in place for the main event and for the Pride March.
Road closure in place from: 8.00am – 20.00pm
The road closure affects: Market Place and Chestergate barriers will be shut during the above times. This will affect access to Mill Street, Churchside, Church Street, Castle Street.
The Pride March: Starts at Christ Church. 12.00pm and will enter Market Place approx 12.20pm.
The rolling road closure will begin from 11.45am – 12.45pm and will affect:
GREAT KING ST – Junction of Churchill Way to Junction Pinfold Street.
CATHERINE STREET – Junction of Shaw Street to Junction of Chestergate.
CHESTERGATE – Junction of King Edward Street to Junction of Churchill Way.
PIERCE STREET – Junction from Pinfold Street and Junction onto Catherine Street.
BRIDGE STREET – Junction from King Edward Street to Chestergate.
LITTLE STREET – Junction from King Edward Street to Chestergate.
GEORGE STREET – Junction from Great King Street.
